Caught Up transforms the lives of young men from all walks of life, helping them become beacons of hope in their communities. Their programs have served over 300 African-American, Latino, and Caucasian men from low-income families in Detroit, MI.
The funds provided by BreaktheTide helped Caught Up provide technology access to students from low-income families in Detroit. Caught Up Mentoring was founded to inspire, mold and empower young men to be productive members of society, giving them tools and resources to succeed as they enter into manhood. Their programs have served over 300 African-American, Latino, and Caucasian men from low-income families in Detroit, MI.
The computers that were purchased helped these students access internet to complete their work and finish their online classes.

Caught Up purchased 3 refurbished laptops with $1,000.

Caught Up purchased 3 laptops to start the credit recovery program. They have 10 students enrolled in the program so far. They hope the program will help students at risk of not graduating to get back on track.

Caught Up is passionate about transforming the lives of young men from all walks of life, helping them become beacons of hope in their communities. Their programs have served over 300 African-American, Latino, and Caucasian men from low-income families in Detroit, MI.
Caught Up facilitates three programs for young men ages 14-20:
SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE
Hosted at their main facility, this program provides a space for young men to develop life skills and network with positive community role models from various academic industries while enjoying food, fellowship, and sports activities.
PROJECT EMPOWER
This program serves youth at Southeastern High School and Denby High School, consisting of life skills training, college tours, and community service activities.
PROJECT RE-ENTRY
This program helps incarcerated youth prepare for entry back into society. Young men at two local juvenile detention centers get help with job interviewing skills, financial literacy, use of proper professional attire, college preparation, and exposure to healthy living skills.
